Curriculum vitae

I am currently (‘18 - ) a PhD student in the CS Dept. at Purdue University. My graduate research work is focused on developing algorithms and principles for representation learning for graph structured data. I am extremely fortunate to be advised by Prof. Jennifer Neville. I am grateful to have worked closely with my amazing collaborators Prof. Pan Li and Prof. Jianzhu Ma.

I have also spent a wonderful summer (‘21) at Microsoft as a research intern and worked with several excellent researchers and engineers from Microsoft Insights AI Team. We developed models and learning algorithms for temporal graph/networks.

I have been a graduate research assistant under my advisor since Fall ‘20. Previously, I have also worked as a graduate teaching assistant for CS 373 (Data Mining) and CS 182 (Foundations of CS) during Fall ‘18,’19 and Spring ‘19.

I have been a reviewer for IEEE TKDE, WSDM-MLoG 2022, ICML 2022 and a sub-reviewer for TheWebConf (WWW ‘21).

Before graduate school, I worked for a year (‘17-‘18) as Member of Technical Staff at Adobe Systems, Bangalore in the marketing cloud platform team where I was involved in developing NLP/ML techniques for aiding marketing efforts. I obtained (‘17) my undergraduate degree in computer science and engineering from PES Institute of Technology. During my undergrad, I had the great opportunity to intern at INRIA Paris-Saclay under Prof. Catuscia Palamidessi working on privacy + data analysis. I was also a Summer Research Fellow of the Indian Academy of Sciences at IIT Bombay and worked under Prof. R K Shyamasundar on information flow control.
